Siyasiza

What is Siyasiza?

Siyasiza came into existence due to needs that were identified by Victory Church members and a decision to take action. We want to make a difference in our local city and see people’s lives changed.

Our Vision: Reaching out to give hope.

Our Mission: To provide help and support to orphaned HIV/AIDS affected and infected children and families, teaching youth about a preferred future and to passionately care for and look after those who are forgotten.

Siyasiza means “we like to help everybody”. Siyasiza was formally constituted as a non-profit organization in 2010 as a response to the need to address social justice issues from a Christ-centered perspective in the communities of Ekurhuleni.

The main projects running at the moment are the Colin House project, the Food Parcels project and Futumelang project. These projects have been extremely successful and have grown extremely well.  The reason these projects were selected was because they are sustainable and credible and would build the organizational, leadership and volunteer capabilities of Siyasiza.”
